On this #SundayStats, 55.5 million people in the US have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. At this rate, it will take at least 179 days until the majority of the population is vaccinated to the point where the virus will not spread uncontrollably anymore (this is called herd immunity). Vaccine supplies are continuing to increase and more people are getting vaccinated. However, it is still important to mask up, wash hands frequently, and social distance, whether you have been vaccinated or not.
